I'm gonna be done with college soon so I was gonna start playing again, but I look at the armory and can't find anybody I know anymore. I see Orange is around, do you know what happened to the people we used to PVP with? Bombadil, thunderhorn, shaddows, hugonaut?

Umm. As far as I know, none of those people still play, man. From old times only a few people I know still play. Prel and Durr are on Lothar but might be transferring to Drak'tharon soon. Ippon and Drar play on some server together. Drav quit for good I think. Ebnuszen still raids in Tyranny. Deacon and I are here in Tyranny, but we don't raid. Mostly though, I have no idea. We're a dying breed.

Damn that sucks, I'm not sure it would be any fun to come back if I didn't even know anybody. What about Firaga?

My old days > your old days.

Orange, what's it like on horde side on this server? If I were to start playing again I wouldn't wanna raid or anything but it would be nice to be on a server where horde can hold it's own in the PVP zones and where you can find competent people to PVP and do 5-mans with.

I'll answer for Orange.

This server is Horde dominated. There are few alliance players, at tops, 50. So if you are looking for World PVP you are sol. But with the battlegroups being combined into one huge battlegroup, BG times should be OK.

If you are a dps the dungeon ques suck.

Other than that our economy isn't the best, but who knows what Cata will bring  Wink

Thanks Protigee, you guys have any idea what classes are supposed to be good in PVP these days? I'm thinking about making my paladin, warrior, or druid my main instead of my rogue.

I would say anything you liek to have fun with.. They all seem to be good, but that's bound to change when we all hit 85 and then patches nerf / buff classes..

I hate when people ask "whats the best class for PvP/PvE/Fucking Goats". Just play what you want, not what you think will get you the farthest. If you play what you like and end up getting good at it, people will respect you a lot more for it, and you'll be happier in the long run. I haven't played a warrior for 6 years for nothing.

Well honestly I used to think that way, but when I stopped playing it was because rogues were getting completely shit on for the most part. Every other class pretty much one shot them, they couldn't kill healers anymore cause they were invincible, all they could really do was gank shadow priests, locks, and some mages, and for the most part they couldn't finish them off before someone else came along and fucked it up. To me, that wasn't very fun, I'd rather be able to play competitively against most classes, not own some and get wrecked by others. Now if the class differences have been evened out a bit so that rogues aren't completely shit on, I'll gladly PVP with him again.

There will be disparities between every class and another class. That's how it goes. The grass is always greener. Warriors blow unless they are wearing the best gear possible, I'm fine with that. Rogues rip me apart in 35 seconds in full Best in Slot tank gear. Honestly I stopped PvPing after TBC, because resilience ruined it for me. I just focus on tanking now. It's a fulltime job anyways.
