Hey.  So, I sent in an app.  Thought I'd introduce myself...
I'm Marcello, from South California.  And I'm not hispanic...just call me Marshmallow, you'll end up doing that anyways.  I spend what time I don't spend doing school/messing around with friends playing WoW and waiting for StarCraft 2 to come out (if you haven't noticed from my name, I'm an SC fan).  I'm 19.  I took a 3 month break from WoW the day after 3.1 came out, and subsequently missed pretty much all of Ulduar.  I don't plan on doing that again, at least not for a very long time, it's the first time I've done that since I started playing a month after BC came out.  I'm definitely situationally aware, and I come prepared to each and every fight.  Gear might be a little bit below par, but I know what I'm doing, I'm dedicated and I'm loyal to any guild I decide to join.

With your current talent spec, what do you consider your role on a raid? (be detailed)
My current spec is 3/13/55.  DPS, since that's the only role a warlock can play, although they can also provide a huge SP buff with the meta spec.  I'm happy to do that, I've played each spec extensively.  

Rank in order from 1-5 (with 1 being highest priority) your preference for your classes' primary stats (e.g. 1=Haste, 2=Crit, 3=Dmg, 4=Spirit, 5=MP5):
Dmg = SP?

1 = Hit.  You need hit to hit your targets and do DPS.
2 = SP (to a lesser extent, Spirit), although a small amount of SP will be outweighed by a large amount of haste or crit.  Spirit is here because 2 Spirit equals 1 SP with Fel Armor.
3 = Haste.  I could have more haste but I like where I am now with it.  
4 = Crit.  Good, but haste is preferred.
5 = Intellect.  Gives crit and a larger mana pool, but mana is covered by Lifetap on all fights except Vesax.  

What is your previous guild, and why are you leaving?
App of Renaissance, the guild before that I did not leave on purpose but they kicked me when I was gone.  I dropped my app to Renaissance after discovering how much of a prick and an ass their RL was.  They are lacking 2-3 people each raid, wipe on Uld25 reg modes and struggle otherwise in progression even with a full group.  They, from what I hear, used to be very good.

What convinced you to apply to Tyranny?
Your guild seems mature, your progression is great, and I'd be happy to be a member of a guild that gets respected by even guilds of the opposite faction (I saw the congratulation thread on Yogg+0).

What do you bring to Tyranny? Why should we tag you?
I bring my knowledge, I bring my dedication, I bring my rather strong DPS, I bring willingness and happiness to make 100% attendance to all of your raids for many many months to come.  

I take my knowledge of my class from many threads at EJ, EJ also helps me with a lot of gear decisions.

I told them that I had little first hand experience in Uld25 HMs quite a few times, due to personal reasons, and then, after seeming interested in me, turned me down based on that.  Took quite a few days for them to end up doing this.  I apped to no other guilds, but had the GM of Fierce (US, Onyxia) ask me if I might be interested in joining and offer me a vent interview on the spot.

I won't take another 3 months off because I have no reason to and I don't want to anyways, I only quit playing for 3 months over the summer because I had other more important commitments to attend to (friends, family) and I wanted a break from the game for a little.  It wasn't really spontaneous either, but not exactly planned, I just knew I wanted to get away from WoW for a little while..

Uhhh...what are you talking about?  I took a 3 month break where I was NOT playing WoW to hang out with friends and relax over the summer.  My time, I would be raiding with you at 4PM.  Usually, I get done with school/other commitments at 3PM.  So it's not even nighttime when I start raiding...and I have work to do after I would be done raiding with you guys.  I'm kind of confused, what's the point you're trying to make?  That I got drunk a bunch over the summer?

More importantly, the reason I ask "WHY" you app'd to a bunch of other guilds is that it makes you look shady to be quite blunt. So if we accept you here and you tell us you're coming, then a few days from now you'll come up and say something like "oh sorry I'm actually not going to xfer, I was accept to so/so's guilds" etc.
